Miryang Arina Youth Theater Artists' Shelter
Competiton 3rd place
Design 2024
Theater explores the deep emotions and experiences of humanity, transforming them into an artistic form that is conveyed to the audience through the actor. The actor, as the messenger of emotions and stories, continually explores and expresses the human condition within the play. The Youth Theater Artists' Shelter reflects this essence of theater, becoming a stage that reveals and expresses the inner and outer aspects of humanity. This space provides actors with a place for preparation, reinterpreting the spatial significance of the Skene from ancient Greece, which served as a background for various scene transitions. The dynamic movements of spaces—connection, overlap, intersection, and projection—stimulate the bodies and imaginations of the theater artists, while the natural elements drawn inside constantly remind them of the essence of life.
