The concept of the observation tower, ‘Interlaced Scape,' located in the Sky Forest of Gangneung Unification Park, lies in the intertwining and intersecting of nature and space, revealing non-linear movements through the creation of layered landscapes and sequences. Through visual and structural complexity, it harmoniously organizes natural and artificial elements, providing segmented frames and vanishing points to allow the experience of the landscape from various perspectives. 'Interlaced Scape' unfolds as a dynamic and open state within the process where various forces intersect. The act of ascending and descending between structures with a non-linear orientation, mixing Vierendeel trusses, columns, and beams, is an emotional journey towards the destination within the disorder of nature.
